For 2022, the intense truck offers two new trim levels for your review — the Denali Ultimate for superior luxury and the AT4X for premium off-roading adventures.
When you opt for the SLE trim or above, you’ll earn one of the truck’s advancements for 2022 — the next-generation GMC Infotainment System. It offers a 13.4-inch diagonal touch screen you can customize to your preferences. Your choices are clearly configured via the infotainment system, which offers Google built-in compatibility as well as other Google services such as Google Assistant, Google Play, and Google Maps, an integral helper when you are eager to activate Super Cruise™ tech.
The available 13.4-inch diagonal touch screen pulls double duty as your entertainment center and safety console, providing a maximum view of 14 camera views. These available views including Rear Camera Mirror, HD Surround Vision, and Bed View Camera, will give you a comprehensive picture of obstacles near your truck and trailer.

You have four powertrains to choose from to deliver the driving performance and capability you need from the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The 6.2-liter V8 generates 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The 5.3-liter V8 jumps to 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel features 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and enables a 13,000 towing capacity when the 2022 Sierra 1500 is properly equipped. The 2.7-liter turbo high-output engine nets improvements for 2022 with 310 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.
