The 2024 Traverse grabs attention with its rugged new exterior look, which is much more muscular and truck-like than previous model years. Changes that stand out right away include standard LED headlamps and taillamps, a dual-exhaust system with bright chrome quad tips, and a new design for the grille and hood. Most trims also offer a panoramic dual-glass sunroof. Blacked-out Midnight or Sport Edition styling is available for LS and LT trims, and the sporty RS displays 22-inch gloss-black wheels, gloss-black roof rails, and unique badging.
New-look interior
The interior of the Traverse gets a spacious and stylish new look for 2024. A lowered beltline and dashboard, pass-through console, and column-mounted electronic shifter work together to give the cabin a roomier feel. Depending on the trim level, you can opt for an eight-seat layout with a second-row bench or a seven-seat layout with second-row SmartSlide chairs. Optional power-folding seats for the second and third row make it easy to utilize the SUV’s 98 cubic feet of total cargo space, and you can add the new Smart Sense Liftgate for hands-free convenience. For the first time, the Traverse is available in Chevy’s off-road-ready Z71 trim. With this model, you’ll get a standard twin-clutch AWD system, a selectable Terrain mode for rugged adventures, unique suspension dampers for more agility off the beaten path. To help you conquer obstacles in your way, the Z71 also boasts an extra inch of ground clearance, increased track width, and an aluminum skid plate. Black machined-face aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, and red tow hooks contribute both style and functionality.
